DECEMBER 2007: Bowers won three Washington Metro DC Chapter Contractor of the Year Awards (CotY) from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). We were one of the top award winners in the area. The award categories included: Whole House Renovations, Custom Kitchens, and Historic Home Renovations. OCTOBER 2007: Bowers Wins Gold Award for Entire House Renovations in this national contest. Now in its sixth year, the Best of the Best Design Awards competition recognizes outstanding design, craftsmanship and functionality in the projects of remodelers across the United States. The judging panel included editors from Professional Remodeler as well as remodelers, architects and kitchen and bath designers. Winning projects are featured in the November issue of Professional Remodeler.
SEPTEMBER 2007: Bowers was featured in Professional Remodeler magazine for their award winning home renovation in McLean. This home was rejuvenated in every way, while maintaining the feel of the original home.
JUNE 2007: Bowers was the feature article in First Horizon Bank’s Small Business magazine. Bowers was featured as an example of a well run small business in the Washington DC area.
MAY 2007: The Bowers Design Team is quoted in the Washingtonian magazine article “Wet and Wonderful” about luxurious bathrooms in the Washington area. Quotes include Bowers’ expert opinions about the latest trends in bathroom fixtures and overall design.
DECEMBER 2006: Bowers has been selected as the Contractor of the Year, Grand Award Winner, for Entire House Remodels for the Washington Metropolitan Area. This award is presented by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Bowers earned this highly competitive award by demonstrating exceptional performance in meeting client needs, increasing the functionality and beauty of the remodeled home, demonstration of superior craftsmanship and overall construction innovation and expertise.
OCTOBER 2006: Bowers has been awarded the 2006 National Best of the Best Design Awards from Professional Remodeler magazine: Gold Level for Whole House Remodels over $500,000. Competing against remodelers from across the United States, a panel of judges felt that Bowers’ Whole House Remodel project had superior Construction Quality, Creativity, and Overall Value for the contract price. In addition, the judges felt that Bowers’ demonstrated their ability to overcome challenging construction problems while delivering an exceptional design. See the winning project
