The former kitchen was dark and did not function adequately for this family. They wanted to update the kitchen to accommodate two cooks and they wanted increased efficiency for this two wage earner family that at times, needs to throw dinner together quickly. The homeowner wanted to change the look of the kitchen significantly getting rid of the stained darker cabinets and wanted to be sure to have separate drawers and refrigerator access for the children.
