For over three decades, Bowers Design Build has been rooted in one simple belief: exceptional homes are built on exceptional relationships.

Our longevity isn’t accidental. It’s the result of steady leadership, a deeply experienced team, and a commitment to doing things the right way—year after year, project after project. While trends come and go, our values stay constant: thoughtful design, meticulous planning, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.

Clients come to us not just for what we build, but for who we are—trusted advisors, long-term partners, and a stable presence in an industry that’s constantly changing.

That’s the Bowers difference.
And it’s how we’ve been building with purpose for more than 35 years.

A Passion for Excellence.

No silos. No surprises. No homeowner stuck in the middle.

This transformation began with a simple but meaningful goal: create a home that could thoughtfully support multiple generations living under one roof, without sacrificing comfort, independence, or the character of the original house. That kind of outcome doesn’t happen by accident. It requires careful, intentional planning from the very start.

Before, the home reflected a different time and way of living. While full of history and charm, the layout no longer supported the needs of a multi-generational family. Circulation was limited, shared spaces felt disconnected, and there wasn’t a clear balance between communal gathering areas and private retreats.

Through the planning process, we focused on understanding how each generation would live in the home...how they would enter, gather, work, rest, and spend time together while still having space of their own. That lens guided every decision, from reworking circulation paths and sightlines to creating purposeful transitions between old and new spaces.

The “after” tells a much different story. The home now supports togetherness and independence. Shared spaces feel welcoming and intuitive, while private areas provide comfort and separation when needed. Architectural details were carefully carried through so the addition feels like a natural extension of the original home, honoring its legacy while preparing it for the future.

This project is a powerful example of what happens when planning leads the way...when design decisions are rooted in how people truly live and evolve over time. The result is more than a renovation; it’s a home reimagined to support generations to come.
